It has loop rings at the ends of the handles for a shoulder strap. Unfortunately I don't have the strap. I would think it would be fairly easy to find one that works. The rungs are an antiqued golden tone. The brightest gold tone is on the locking latch. It's a nice brass tone. The leather is in excellent vintage condition. Soft and durable. The stitching is all in
