Well, there are cards that change this dynamic, either giving you a huge benefit when you discard your own cards or by punishing people for having few or zero cards in hand
Prioritize Dragons with impactful ETB or attack triggers so each copy immediately generates value
But The same goes for your opponent too, as it's not entirely obvious how they should choose either
If not, I suppose it could be a decent retirement fund depending on how much I spend, but I honestly cant imagine getting rid of them
