Palate: coffee, black plum, blubbery, raspberry, licorice, oak, vanilla, mushroom. Balance, dry, high acidity, low tannin, light body. Packed quite a punch, that I didn't immediately relate that it's purely Pinot noir. But the elegance does turn up eventually.
