One is to focus on the fact that for most Secret Lairs , you really aren't getting a big discount by buying them directly from Wizards compared to buying them on the secondary market a couple of months after they are released, so you're probably best off waiting and just picking up specific cards you want as singles, especially if you don't really care about all of the cards in a drop and just want one or two
I like Jace in this list but I am pretty sure that is a bias, I am sure the best versions of this deck wont run him

Reverse holographic/holofoil rare = black star + shiny card (excluding picture): reverse holo rares are essentially the opposite of a holo rare
Some decks will prefer the Hierarch with a lot of stuff to accelerate, and some the two-drop since it's on curve and then gives you multiple mana reductions each turn with multiple plays
