At some point the 2/4 became a 3/3, I suppose to make it a little better
The Rush attack + attaching Don can damage your opponents Leader, either winning you the game or getting you closer to closing out the game
Its easy to trigger on your turn, especially if you play 0-mana spells and artifacts, and it doesnt take too much to sneak an extra card into your hand on another players turn

The community immediately dismissed this commander as bad but just like those calling the precon bad, I think this just comes down to bad analysis -- go ahead and play the deck and you'll be pleasantly surprised I reckon
