I actually dont think that General Kreat offers much as a commander, but shell go great in the 99 of decks such as Krenko, Mob Boss or Purphoros, God of the Forge that are already looking to throw massive amounts of tokens onto the battlefield to finish off opponents
In the 1993 MTG Alpha set, the cards are designated as common, uncommon or rare, and it has been estimated that only 1,100 of each "rare" card was produced
So it stands to reason that Enchanted Rare cards are the most highly sought after cards in any given set, especially as cards at this level of rarity are found at the rate of roughly 1 in every 72 booster packs (which is 1 in 3 booster boxes!)
