Piekenierskoof地區是南非最早種植格納希的地方，加上從未遭受過葡萄根瘤蚜蟲的侵襲，因此是南非其為珍貴的葡萄園。「Piekeniers」在當地古語的意思是「步兵」，因此葡萄園取名為「Soldaat」也是南非語「士兵」的意思。這個葡萄園海拔高達800公尺，具有朝東的坡向。

Anne Gros崇尚傳統之中，不拘於形式的又一精采之作。屬於南法傳統Vin doux Natural（VDN）的一種。保留小粒種白蜜思嘉誘人的新鮮香氣，拉高酒精度，是當地非常普遍的開胃酒與餐後酒。
