Rosewater, Mark Subject: Crackle Off the top of my head though here are some cards that are "too powerful to bring back" that might be exciting to reprint in purple, along with what it would mean for the color's section of the pie: Mana Drain (countermagic) Fireblast (direct damage) Hymn to Tourach (discard) Rancor (trample and creature pump?) Land Tax (taxing) Land Grant (land search) Sylvan Library (deck manipulation) Dark Ritual (fast mana) The cards that really help to define the color, like the first three, seem better because their inclusion makes a lot of other cards make sense
Your opponent trades their Colossal Dreadmaw with Ojer Taq to kill each other in combat, its death trigger will bring the god back as Temple of Civilization, and the additional trigger from Teysa Karlov will do nothing because Ojer Taq is no longer in the graveyard
Both of those are abilities that the super powerful Griselbrand had, so that's on queue
Just dont use them for tournament play as you could booted out and get banned from future events
Starting Town Starting Town is a clever riff on Mana Confluence and City of Brass
Your opponent wants to cheese you with a Worship, don't just pull it from their hand but exile it and turn their cheeky Auramancer into a Grey Ogre
