Well, I like to just pick the card back up (likely from the graveyard) and just keep on re-triggering the ability till my opponents buy what Garys selling
Shutting off players from playing Ad Nauseam isn't nothing , but I also think there's so much interaction in Commander that it might be a trivial speedbump to remove him before an opponent tries to win
However, this is a glass-cannon approach and likely inferior to the grindy sacrifice plan in most games
But most importantly, instant speed might allow this to double up as a combat trick, and the extra +1/+1 counter adds to that
