The artwork was a result of seeing the texture and colour on a wall in the local vet surgery in Picton

Photographing a Gerbera in the sun  was an interesting exercise

It is a typical Australian outback scene

Just by adding some eyes and a hat and a bunch of flowers the story is revealed

for example

(Rusty Colour) Australian original art print. fuchsia plant The artwork was a resultThe starting canvas for this artwork was a 8mm thick rusty steel plate retaining wall, which was under construction when I called in to see it at my son's new house. The steel plate had been stacked until it was required for the retaining wall. The markings on the plate steel, when uncovered, and put in place, resembled that of this amazing Australian outback scene at sunset. By adding the cows and the drovers on horseback, the artwork was created.
