The fabric is either cotton or a cotton blend

Vintage Mid 1950s Mens Tie Paisley Satin Necktie Deluxe by Metro portrait porcelain This is an antique MauchlineThis is a mid 1950s mens tie (1954 1956) featuring a paisley pattern in greyish blue against a red background with purple toned stripes and bottom. It is made of a rayon satin fabric with matte motifs in an open rectangular shape. Its label reads De Luxe Fine Tailored by Metro. This tie is in very good condition except for a stain to the lining at the narrow tip I havent tried to clean this and it is really very minor given its location. Otherwise,
