MEDIEVAL, PROBABLY VIKING LADY’S RING C700-100 AD, SIZE 6 ¾ 03/04/2025 Probably the ring of aGilt bronze, size 6 3 4 with 1. 8mm rounded face band and rounded face rectangular bezel with stipple border around a figural motif, probably serving as a signet. That form is found on other Byzantine rings of the period but the significance or symbolism is unknown. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
