To my mind, Commander is at its best when youre playing extravagant, high-mana spells, and Thryx facilitates that
There is one hurdle you have to clear to really make Zevlor work, though
While this mechanic appears only on creatures, if a non-creature permanent becomes a creature and gains it, that creature will still return to the battlefield with the counter, even if that counter is meaningless in its non-creature state
You get to draw two cards, play an Artifact for free, copy one of your permanents, spread three +1/+1 counters over your creatures, and destroy one of your opponents cards
Alongside "Moana - Kakamora Leader" comes two new Kakamora cards, the Ruby "Pirate Pitcher" who can give other characters the Evasive ability for a whole two turns, and the "Long-Range Specialist," a Steel character card who deals damage contingent on entering play alongside another pirate character
The card is able to pick up two cards from the yard but if it's foretold, we get to Patriarch's Bidding
